Umpire Criteria

This is a high-performance league with some developmental opportunities, and the
following requirements should be adhered to:

All umpires must hold a current England Netball full membership and ideally should have a C Award qualification
All Umpires used to officiate CJNL matches must meet the following criteria and be league approved by CJNL Umpiring Secretary, or suitably nominated person, to the appropriate standard.

Under 10 & Under 11 - Attended an INTO Officiating Award Course and League Approved
Under 12 – Qualified INTO Officiating Umpire or an INTO learner who has attended an INTO Officiating Award Course and is preparing for the practical assessment with League Approval
Under 13 & Under 14 Div 2 – Qualified C Award Umpire or qualified INTO Officiating Umpire who has attended a C Award Course including passing the written exam and League Approved
Under 15 – Minimum Qualified C Award umpire or qualified Into Officiating umpire who has attended a C Award Course, including passing the written exam and is preparing for the practical assessment with league approval
Under 14 and Under 16 Regionals – Minimum Qualified C Award umpire or above and a neutral/independent umpire
